Automated Irrigation for Agriculture

Precise resource management plays a crucial role in modern agricultural and greenhouse facilities. A robust, industrial-grade SALZ Automation control and I/O system was used for an automated irrigation solution, which records and evaluates humidity values, environmental data, and water consumption in real time.

Our task was to implement a fully networked, maintenance-free solution that intelligently processes sensor data, automatically controls irrigation cycles, and makes them transparently viewable at any time via browser-based visualization. The result is efficient, sustainable water management - fully integrated, scalable, and consistently digitized.

In the dynamic production environment of brake disc manufacturer Eurac Lemgo, a robust, IP65-protected SALZ Automation industrial panel PC running Windows 11 IoT was installed directly on an electric forklift truck. It records the weight and fill level of brake discs in real time to optimize material flow.

Our task was to create a seamless connection between production and logistics by combining browser-based applications and visualization via Profinet on one device and ensuring a stable Wi-Fi connection for continuous real-time data communication.

Engineers can quickly download the software, create containers in minutes, and securely manage all operations via a browser. Physical devices communicate seamlessly with virtual devices created in the logiccloud IDE and connected to SALZ Controllers.

Secure process control for water treatment

In an industrial environment, a panel PC should not only visualize and control process data, but also make system services such as updates, logs and display settings manageable - directly via a user-friendly SCADA interface.

In this project, our task was to develop a secure Linux-based Panel PC and integrate SCADA software with a Microbrowser for real-time monitoring. The customer selected SALZ Automation for our proven expertise in embedded Linux, secure update mechanisms, and scalable SCADA integration.
